What does the evidence show?
Why it is Verified
The housing list is the council's record of people waiting for a home. The Auditor-General's 2024-25 report lists this finding for Mangaung. It lists the same finding for four other metros: Buffalo City, the City of Johannesburg, eThekwini and Nelson Mandela Bay. The report does not say how many people were affected.
